AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 27 of
Article 40 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement),
title "General Assembly," subtitle "Legislative Council," increas-
ing the number of members who compose the Legislative Council
of Maryland and making provision for the ex officio and other
members of the Legislative Council.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 (a) of
Article 32 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement),
title "Dentistry", subtitle "In General", to change the requirements
possessed by persons with dental degrees who may apply to the
Board of Dental Examiners for examination by the Board to
practice dentistry in the State.

Senate Bill No. 468—By Senator Bailey:
AN ACT to add new Section 54A to Article 77 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public Education,"
subtitle "Chapter 5. County Board of Education," to follow imme-
diately after Section 54 thereof, to provide for the applicability of
school laws, rules or regulations to schools in Charles , GARRETT
and St. Mary's Counties conducted or operated by certain religious
groups and to authorize the modification of such requirements by
the local boards of education in these counties.

Senate Bill No. 482—By Senators H. Hughes and Pine.
AN ACT to authorize the creation of a State debt in the aggregate
amount of Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00) for the pur-
pose of aiding in the financing of certain loans to be made to
voluntary nonprofit hospitals upon completion of the construction,
expansion, relocation, replacement or modernization of their hos-
pital buildings, facilities, and equipment; providing generally for
the terms and conditions of creating this debt and for expending
funds thereunder; providing generally for the issue and sale of
certificates evidencing this loan; and to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Sections 568F (a) and (b) of Article 43 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Health," subtitle "Maryland Hospital Commission," to change
the conditions and procedures for repayment of State loans made
