(f) (E) The tenure in office of any member of the State central
committee of any party shall begin at the time the canvass of the votes
in this district is completed and the tenure shall be deemed to be con-
tinued to the extent of any extension in time between primary elec-
tions by reason of any change in the date of holding primary elec-
tions by political parties in this State.

(g) (F) In Anne Arundel County, four members of the party State
central committees for the county shall be elected from each of the
three Senatorial and Delegate subdistricts into which the county is
divided by the provisions of Sections 46 and 47 of Article 40 of this
Code, as amended from time to time.

(h) (G) In Baltimore County members of the party State central
committee shall be elected from the Senatorial and Delegate subdis-
tricts and shall not run at large.

(i) (H) In Montgomery County (1) there shall be fifteen members
of the central committee of the Democratic Party for the county who
shall be elected at large; and (2) the members of the State central
committee of the Republican Party for the county shall be elected
at large; and the number of members of the said State central com-
mittee shall be equal to the number of persons Montgomery County
shall be entitled to elect to the House of Delegates of the General
Assembly of Maryland.

(A)     THE GOVERNING BODY OF A POLITICAL PARTY
SHALL BE THE STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE FOR THE
STATE, AND NO OTHER ORGANIZATION, WHENEVER OR
HOWEVER INCORPORATED, SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ANY
RECOGNITION OR OFFICIAL STATUS FOR ANY PURPOSE
CONTAINED IN THIS ARTICLE. POLITICAL PARTIES IN
THIS STATE, WHETHER MAKING NOMINATIONS THROUGH
PRIMARY ELECTIONS OR PRIMARY MEETINGS, ARE EX-
PRESSLY FORBIDDEN TO INCORPORATE UNDER THE GEN-
ERAL LAWS OF THIS STATE PROVIDING FOR THE FORMA-
TION OF CORPORATIONS.

(B)    IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY ORGANIZATION
OTHER THAN THE STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE FOR THE
STATE TO HOLD ITSELF OUT AS THE OFFICIAL ORGANI-
ZATION OR GOVERNING BODY OF ANY POLITICAL PARTY.
VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION IS PUNISHABLE BY A FINE
OF NOT MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND ($1,000) DOLLARS,
OR BY IMPRISONMENT IN JAIL FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6)
MONTHS, OR BY BOTH FINE AND IMPRISONMENT, IN THE
DISCRETION OF THE COURT.

PRESIDENTIAL CONVENTIONS
12-1. Delegates to National conventions.

(a)    The State convention of any party entitled to elect and hold
such a convention shall select the delegates to the national convention
of this party in such manner as the convention may determine.

(b)    The number of delegates at large and district delegates, to-
gether with alternates, who shall represent the respective political
