dollars ($500.00) or to ninety days imprisonment in the county
jail, or both, in the discretion of the court. If such an act or omis-
sion is of a continuing nature, or is persisted in, in violation of the
provisions of this subtitle, or of any regulation enacted or decision
made under the powers granted in this subtitle, each and every day
during which such act or omission continues or is persisted in shall
be deemed a separate misdemeanor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 852)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 53 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages.", subtitle
"General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," to provide for addi-
tional Class A and Class B beer, wine and liquor licenses in
Prince George's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 53 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages.",
subtitle "General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

53. Prince George's County.—Generally.

(1) Number of licenses issued.—The number of licenses of each
class of alcoholic beverage licenses in Prince George's County shall
not exceed the following maximum amounts:

Beer license, Class A..............................................................          25

Beer license, Class B ........................................................              7
