such duties as are prescribed for the judges for juvenile causes of
the People's Court of Montgomery County by Sections 96 and 98 of
this article, and Article 26, subtitle "Juvenile Causes of Montgomery
County."
(15) (f) The judges of the People's Court of Montgomery County,
except the judges for juvenile causes shall arrange their dockets in
such manner that a separate day or days, or part of a day of each
week, in each court of the circuit, shall be devoted exclusively to the
hearing of civil cases, criminal cases (except juvenile causes) and
traffic cases arising under Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, respectively, as the volume and kind of cases may from
time to time require.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 72, 73, 75 77,
80(a) and (c) and 81 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Juvenile Causes
in Montgomery County," be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
72.
[One] Two of the judges of the People's Court of Montgomery
County shall be [a] judges for juvenile causes only.
73.
The judges for juvenile causes shall be appointed, as provided by
Section 98 of Article 52, enacted herewith. He shall have the qualifi-
cations and receive a salary as provided in Section 98 and 108 of
said Article 52.
75.
When used in this subtitle, unless the context clearly requires
otherwise:
(a) "Court" means the court presided over by the People's Court
judges for juvenile causes of Montgomery County.
(b) "Judge" means either of the People's Court judges for juve-
nile causes of Montgomery County.
(c) "Child" means a minor under the age of 18 years who is
subject to the jurisdiction of the court.
(d) "Adult" means a person 18 years of age or over.
77.
The senior judge shall prepare on or before April 1st of each year,
an annual report of the previous calendar year, which report shall
include statistics indicating the number and types of cases referred
to the court during said period and the disposition of such cases. He
shall be assisted in compiling such report by the supervisor of social
work and such other members of his professional and clerical staff
as is necessary. Copies of the report shall be submitted to the county
council of Montgomery County and be made available for distribution
