(House Bill 783)

AN ACT to add new Section 712B to Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Oysters and Clams," to follow immediately after Section
712A thereof, authorizing the Department of Chesapeake Bay Af-
fairs to adopt certain regulations governing the taking of clams
in Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 712B be and it is hereby added to Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams," to follow immediately after
Section 712A thereof, and to read as follows:

712B.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 712 of this Article, the
Department of Chesapeake Bay Affairs is authorized to adopt and to
modify regulations governing the taking or catching of clams in the
waters of Worcester County. Such regulations may specify the type
and size of gear that may be used, the maximum quantity of clams
that may be taken or caught in a day, the minimum size of clams
that may be taken or caught, and the areas in which clams may be
taken or caught by use of any type of gear PROVIDED, HOW-
EVER, THAT THE LICENSE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 712(f)
SHALL BE APPLIED.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 90(e) of
Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1966 Supple-
ment) , title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administration—Registra-
tion—Titling," amending the laws concerning student instruction
and the operation of motor vehicles in order to remove the exemp-
tion for securing instruction and examination permits by certain
persons completing a course in driver education.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 90 (e) of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1966 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
