other than trial magistrates and substitute trial magistrates. The
committing magistrates shall receive an annual salary as set by the
County Commissioners. The committing magistrates shall sit at such
times and places and shall perform such duties as are assigned to
them by the Judges of the People's Court. In the conduct and ad-
ministration of their affairs they shall conform to such practices and
procedures, consistent with law, as are prescribed by the Judges of
the People's Court with the approval of the Judges thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 688)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 47(c-4)
(A) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Re-
placement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Salaries of Judges,"
authorizing the Board of County Commissioners for Prince
George's County to pay to certain judges of the Seventh Judicial
Circuit certain amounts per annum in excess of the salary and/or
supplementation heretofore directed or allowed to be paid to such
judges.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 47(c-4)(A) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Sal-
aries of Judges," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
47.
(c-4)(A) The County Commissioners [of] for Prince George's
County are authorized to pay from any amounts received from the
State Comptroller under the provisions of subsection (c-1) hereof or
elsewhere, in addition to the sums provided by Section [282 A] 12-4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County, as
amended by Chapter 925 of the Acts of 1965 [an amount not to
exceed three thousand dollars ($3,000) per annum] to each of the
judges of the Circuit Court of the seventh judicial circuit who resides
in Prince George's County, and [an amount not to exceed one thou-
sand seven hundred fifty dollars ($1,750.) per annum] to each of the
judges of the seventh judicial circuit who is a non-resident of Prince
George's County and who sits in the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County at the request of the resident judges of Prince George's
County, additional supplementation of the salaries of each of the
resident and non-resident judges in such amount as the said County
Commissioners may determine.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
