CHAPTER 48
(Senate Bill 79)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 443(b)
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle
"Pistols," correcting an error in the laws dealing with licenses for
the sale of pistols and revolvers.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 443 (b) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments," subtitle "Pistols," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
443.
(b) Licenses required by subsection (a) above shall expire on the
30th day of June, 1967, and of each year thereafter. The initial fee
for such license shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and the annual
renewal shall be five dollars ($5.00), payable to the Comptroller of
the State of Maryland. Such licenses shall not be transferable nor
shall any refund or proration of the annual fee [therefore] therefor
be allowed. Provided, however, that before any licensee changes his
place of business he shall so inform the Superintendent of the Mary-
land State Police or his duly authorized agent or agents and sur-
render his license, whereupon the said Superintendent or his duly
authorized agent or agents shall, if no cause exists for the revoca-
tion of such license, issue a new license, without fee, covering the
new place of business for the duration of the unexpired term of the
surrendered license.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 194(1)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supple-
ment), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in the Counties,"
correcting errors in the laws relating to the regulation of dogs in
Harford County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 194(1) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in
the Counties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
