Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 99 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Harford
County," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

99.

In Harford County, notwithstanding any other provision of this
subtitle, licensees under this article shall only sell, offer for sale,
or dispense the beverages denned in this article, between the hours
of 8 o'clock A.M. and 1 o'clock A.M. on week days and shall not
sell such beverages during any other hours or at any time on Sun-
days. Nor shall said licensee conduct nor permit dancing on Sun-
days. No beer or light wine shall be permitted to be drunk on the
premises of a licensee after fifteen (15) minutes following the clos-
ing hours prescribed in this section [.] except that any restau-
rant, hotel or private club holding a beer, wine or other alcoholic
beverage license as provided in Sections 20(h-2) and 19(f-2) of
Article 2B may serve such alcoholic beverages during the hours of
1 o'clock p.m. and 7 o'clock p.m. on Sunday; and whenever New
Year's Eve falls on Saturday such licensees may sell such beverages
and remain open for one hour past midnight, and if New Year's Eve
falls on a Sunday such licensees may open at 1 o'clock p.m. and
close at one hour past midnight.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 242
(House Bill 413)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 20(h-2)
(iv) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," removing the mandatory
provision that a club or organization shall purchase all liquor
and spirituous beverages from the Harford County Liquor Con-
trol Board, and permitting them to purchase such beverages
from other licensed suppliers.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 20(h-2)(iv) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

20.

(h-2) (iv) A country club which has 75 or more bona fide mem-
bers paying dues of not less than $50 per annum per member, which
