BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS—CAPITAL APPROPRIATION

17.01.00.01 Capital Appropriation

To the Board of Public Works to be used for
certain necessary planning, building, con-
struction, deferred maintenance and equip-
ment purposes of the State and for acquiring
certain land as listed in the Program and
Performance statement for this appropria-
tion. The expenditures of these funds are to
be made under the same legal provisions as
are applicable to General Construction Loan
                      Funds for like purposes. SUCH APPRO-

PRIATION AS MAY BE ALLOCATED BY
THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR
             POINT LOOKOUT STATE PARK MAY

BE USED FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
LAND FOR THE PARK.

THE SUM OF $300,000 INCLUDED IN THIS APPROPRIATION FOR
THE ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR A NEW MAXIMUM SECURITY
INSTITUTION SHALL NOT BE USED UNTIL AFTER CONSIDERA-
TION IS GIVEN TO AVAILABLE STATE OWNED LAND FOR THE
SITE THEREOF, AND THEN ONLY AFTER APPROVAL BY THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.
