prohibitions and penalties contained in said subheading.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 534F be and it is hereby added to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Crimes and Punish-
ments," subheading "Sabbath Breaking," and to follow immediately
after Section 534E thereof, and to read as follows:
534F.
All real estate contracts NO CONTRACTS hereafter entered into
and executed by and between the parties thereto on Sunday shall be
valid and legally binding and are not BE subject to the prohibitions
and penalties elsewhere contained in this subheading.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 194 (j)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supple-
ment), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in the Counties,"
amending the laws concerning dog control in Caroline and Wor-
cester counties to correct an error therein. TO AUTHORIZE THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CAROLINE AND WOR-
CESTER COUNTIES TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULA-
TIONS FOR THE CONTROL OF DOGS IN THESE COUNTIES,
TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF DOGS, FOR DOG
POUNDS, WARDENS AND ENFORCEMENT OF SUCH RULES
AND REGULATIONS AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE EFFEC-
TIVENESS OF THIS ACT WITHIN MUNICIPAL CORPORA-
TIONS IN CAROLINE AND WORCESTER COUNTIES.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 194(j) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in
the Counties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(j) The county commissioners of Caroline County and Worcester
County are hereby authorized and empowered, in order to safeguard
the health, safety and public welfare of the residents of Worcester
County to pass rules, regulations and resolutions for the purpose of
carrying out powers hereinafter granted, provided that such rules
