(1) ACQUIRES A SPECIFIC RECORD OF 8 (EIGHT) YEARS
EXPERIENCE IN PROPERTY LINE SURVEYING OF A CHAR-
ACTER SATISFACTORY TO THE BOARD INDICATING HE
MAY BE COMPETENT TO PRACTICE PROPERTY LINE SUR-
VEYING AND PRESENTS EVIDENCE OF SUCH EXPERIENCE
SATISFACTORY TO THE BOARD; AND NOT LESS THAN 30
(THIRTY) YEARS OF AGE.
(2) SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES A WRITTEN OR ORAL
EXAMINATION IN THE FUNDAMENTALS OF PROPERTY
LINE SURVEYING AND THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE
OF PROPERTY LINE SURVEYING.
(f) (G) A person holding a certificate of registration to engage in
the practice of engineering or land surveying on the basis of com-
parable qualifications, issued to him by a proper authority of a state,
territory, or possession of the United States, or the District of
Columbia, who, in the opinion of the Board, met the present require-
ments of this article at the time of such prior registration based
on verified evidence may, upon application, be registered without
taking the written examination provided for in this article.
(g) (H) No person shall be eligible for consideration for registra-
tion as a professional engineer or professional land surveyor OR
PROPERTY LINE SURVEYOR, or certification as an engineer-in-
training or a land surveyor-in-training who is not of good character
and reputation.
(h) (I) In considering the qualifications of applicants, engineering
teaching as an associate professor or higher may be construed as
engineering experience.
(i) (J) The satisfactory completion of each scholastic year of an
engineering curriculum approved by the Board as of satisfactory
standing, without graduation, may be considered as equivalent to a
year of experience in Sections 12(a)(2), 12(a)(3), 12(c)(2), and
12(c)(3)
(j) (K) The execution, as a contractor, of work designed by a pro-
fessional engineer or a professional land surveyor, or the supervision
of the construction of such work as a foreman or superintendent,
shall not be deemed to be the practice of engineering or land survey-
ing.
(k) (L) Any person having the necessary qualifications prescribed
in this article to entitle him to registration shall be eligible for such
registration although he may not be practicing his profession at the
time of making his application.

(a) Applications for registration shall be on forms prescribed
and furnished by the Board, shall contain statements made under
oath, showing the applicant's education and detailed summary of his
technical work, and shall contain not less than five references, of
whom three or more shall be engineers having personal knowledge
of his engineering experience.
The registration fee for professional engineers shall be
twenty-five dollars ($25.00), fifteen dollars ($15.00) of which shall
