Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 121(b) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Supplement), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Commission," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

121.

(b) Provided, however, that if the Director or one of his salaried
wardens has just and reasonable grounds to believe that game, fish,
or device being used unlawfully is in possession in violation of the
game or fish laws of this State, and, in his opinion, it is not possible
or practicable to secure a search warrant in time to seize said game,
fish, or device being used unlawfully so in possession, then he may
without a warrant examine any boat, railway car, box, crate, pack-
age, or game bag, and (in Garrett, Allegany, Carroll, Frederick,
Washington, Wicomico, Worcester, Talbot, and Montgomery coun-
ties), when dressed in uniform or accompanied by a uniformed police
officer may stop and search an automobile, any vehicle, or trailer for
the purpose of examining the game or fish bag, also to be sure the
hunter or angler has conformed to the law by having the proper
hunter's or angler's license in possession and shall seize any game,
fish, or device being used unlawfully so found in possession in viola-
tion of the law, and any game, fish, or device being used unlawfully
so taken shall be disposed of by the Director as he may deem advis-
able for the best interest of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 15
(Senate Bill 478)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 35 (2)
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1966 Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "Permanent
Registration," to provide for a change in the compensation of
registrars of the Board of Election Supervisors in Calvert County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35 (2) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle
"Permanent Registration," be and, it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(2) Registration of voters in the county is carried out by two
registrars appointed by the Board, one representing each of the two
