House Bill No. 251. Prince George's County—Housing

AN ACT to add a new Section 23A to Article 44A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition) (1966 Supplement), title
"Housing Authorities" said new Section 23A to be headed "County
Commissioners for Prince George's County may act as housing
authority.", and to follow immediately after Section 23 to permit the
County Commissioners for Prince George's County to constitute
itself as the housing authority for that county.

Dear Mr, Speaker:

In accordance with Section 17 of Article II of the Maryland
Constitution, I have vetoed today House Bill 251 and am returning
it to you.

This bill would allow the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County to constitute itself as the housing authority for
the County.

I have been asked by the Prince George's County Delegation
to veto this measure and this veto is to comply with their request.

House Bill No. 344—Motor Vehicles

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 63
(g) and (h) of Article 66˝ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Administration—Registra-
tion—Titling," amending the laws relating to registration of motor
vehicles to extend the period in which temporary registration plates
or markers may be used.
