This Act shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its
general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which enact
it.
16.
This Act may be cited as the Revised Uniform Federal Tax Lien
Registration Act.
Filing officers with whom notices of federal tax liens, certificates
and notices affecting such liens have been filed on or before May
31, 1967 shall, after that date, continue to maintain a file labeled
"federal tax lien notices filed prior to June 1, 1967" containing
notices and certificates filed in numerical order of receipt. If a notice
of lien was filed on or before May 31, 1967, any certificate or notice
affecting the lien shall be filed in the same office.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 753
(House Bill 1009)
AN ACT to add new Section 211H-8 to Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement), title "State Roads," sub-
title "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and Programming and
Scheduling of Highway Projects," to follow immediately after
Section 211H-7 thereof, to provide for inclusion of an additional
roads project in Washington County in the State Roads Com-
mission's official 20-year needs study, this project being a rail-
road crossing on Maryland Route 632.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 211H-8 be and it is hereby added to Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement), title
"State Roads," subtitle "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and
Programming and Scheduling of Highway Projects," to follow im-
mediately after Section 211H-7 thereof, and to read as follows:
211H-8.
The official "twenty year highway needs study" of the State Roads
Commission is hereby amended to show the need for a bridge over
railroad tracks on the Downsville Pike,, Maryland Route 632, the
construction of which is hereby authorized and directed to be under-
taken as soon as practicable.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
