of the department of assessments of Baltimore City. The several
classes of counties are as specified in subsection (a) of this section,
and the numbered pay scales are as established from time to time:

(f) The supervisor of assessments of Baltimore City shall have an
annual salary classification in accordance with the the Maryland State
employees standard salary scale [15] 19 as it may be established

from time to time.

(d) Salary ranges for the several positions described above in this
section shall be as follows:

Standard Salary Scale

The several numbered pay scales referred to in this subsection are
as established from time to time under the standard salary scale.
Assessors' aides begin with the third salary rate within the applica-
ble salary range, and not at the beginning salary rate, and move
thence upward to the maximum rate therein.

(m) In any political subdivision in which the designation of
certified assessment evaluator has been obtained, and the State
Department of Assessments and Taxation shall have approved such

designation, the salary scale for such position shall be $500 per
annum greater than the appropriate sum designated in the schedule
hereinabove in this section. [In any political subdivision in which
there are field supervisors, the salary scale for such position shall be

$750 per annum greater than the appropriate sum designated in the
schedule hereinabove in this section.]

(C-1) ON AND AFTER JULY 1, 1967, THE CLASSIFICATIONS
AND PAY SCALES OF THE SEVERAL SUPERVISORS OF
ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE IN THE SAME RELATIVE POSI-
TION IN THE STANDARD SALARY SCALES THEN IN
