"Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact," subtitle "State's At-
torney," to follow immediately after Section 40 (r) (2) thereof and
to provide for allowance for general expenses of State's Attorney
for Queen Anne's County, and to make such allowance payable
on or after January 1, 1967.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 40(r)(3) be and the same is hereby added to
Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1966 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact,"
subtitle "State's Attorney," to follow immediately after Section 40
(r) (2) thereof, and to read as follows:

(r)(3) The State's Attorney's allowance for clerical and secre-
tarial hire, rental and general office expenses is twenty-eight hun-
dred dollars ($2,800), and this amount shall be payable on and after
January 1,1967.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

(House Bill 60)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 233A(a)
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's
County (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County," subtitle
"Law Library," as last amended by Chapter 290 of the Acts of
1957, changing the annual sum of money which the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County shall pay to the Clerk of
Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County for the upkeep and main-
tenance of the library of said County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 233A (a) of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County," sub-
title "Law Library," as last amended by Chapter 290 of the Acts of
1957, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
233A.
(a) The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County are
authorized and directed to pay annually unto the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Queen Anne's County such sums of money [, not exceeding
one thousand two hundred dollars nor less than eight hundred dol-
lars,] as they shall deem necessary for the upkeep and maintenance
of the Law Library of said County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
