title "Executive and Administrative Departments," subtitle "1.
The Executive Department," subheading "Maryland Tercen-
tenary Commission," and to repeal Sections 49 and 50 of Article 54
of said Code (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Land Office," in
order to remove obsolete references to certain defunct commissions
relating to the history and public records of Maryland.

Whereas, the duties of the Maryland Tercentenary Commission
and Maryland Tercentenary Memorial Commission as established by
Chapter 487 of the Acts of 1931, Chapter 344 of the Acts of 1933,
and Chapter 27 of the Acts of 1935 have been superseded by the
establishment of the Hall of Records Commission and the various
duties assigned to it and by the establishment of the St. Mary's
City Commission; and

Whereas, the Public Records Commission created by Chapter 282
of the Acts of 1904 completed the duties assigned to it, filed its report
in 1907, and has since ceased to function.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 182 through 184, inclusive, of Article 41 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replacement Volume), title
"Executive and Administrative Departments," subtitle "1. The
Executive Department," subheading "Maryland Tercentenary Com-
mission," and Sections 49 and 50 of Article 54 of said Code (1964
Replacement Volume), title "Land Office," be, and they are hereby,
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to add new Section 20(1-1) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses,"
to follow immediately after Section 20(1) thereof, and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 20 (n) of said Article,
title and subtitle of said Code, to establish a Class C beer, wine,
and liquor license for St. Mary's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 20(1-1) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1966 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor
Licenses," to follow immediately after Section 20(1) thereof, and
that Section 20 (n) of said Article, title and subtitle of said Code be,
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and
all to read as follows:
