Section 27 (c) thereof, and to read as follows:

27.

(d) Extra compensation, to be known as shift differential pay,
shall be granted to designated employees. Such employees, to be
eligible, must regularly work on an eight hour shift, starting between
2:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. The Board shall establish rules and regu-
lations for the payment of such shift differential, to provide fairness
and equity among all employees in consideration of the hours worked,
conditions and place of employment, prevailing practices in the
locality, and other factors deemed by the Board to be relevant under
the circumstances.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal Section 92 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "Corporations,"
subheading "I. Stock Corporations," subtitle "Foreign Corpora-
tions"; to repeal Sections 96 (a), (b), (c), (e), (f), (g), (h), and
(i) and Section 97 of said Article and subheading, subtitle
"Process"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 95
of said Article, subheading and subtitle transferring the same as
so repealed and re-enacted to Article 75 of said Code (1965 Re-
placement Volume), title "Pleadings, Practice and Process at
Law," subtitle "IV. Process," and renumbering the same as Section
75A of said Article 75; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 94, 96 (d) and 98 of said Article 23 of said Code (1966
Replacement Volume), subheading "I. Stock Corporations," sub-
title "Process," transferring the same as so repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to said Article 75, subtitle "IV.
Process," renumbering the same as Sections 75C, 75B (a) (2) and
(b) of said Article 75, respectively; and to add new Section 75B
(a) to said Article 75 of said Code (1965 Replacement Volume),
subtitle "IV. Process," to follow immediately after Section 75A
thereof; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 99
of said Article 23 of the Code (1966 Replacement Volume), sub-
heading "I. Stock Corporations," subtitle "Process," and to trans-
fer the same as to repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, re-
numbering the same as Section 127C of said Article 23, subheading
"Miscellaneous"; generally modernizing certain provisions relating
to jurisdiction over and service of process upon corporations,
transferring provisions from Article 23 to Article 75 of the Mary-
land Code, and removing certain obsolete matter.
