Beginning for the academic year 1968-69, and thereafter, not
more than two hundred (200) full-time students shall be educated
by Prince George's Community College free of charge for tuition
under this section.
All such scholarships shall be awarded by the Prince George's
Community College on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
FUNDS FOR THE GRANTING OF ALL SCHOLARSHIPS TO
BE AWARDED ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL BE PLACED IN THE PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY BUDGET FROM YEAR TO YEAR BY THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 126 (a)
of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume), title "The Executive Department", subtitle "De-
partment of Parole and Probation", authorizing the People's Court
of Anne Arundel County to direct a person convicted of a crime
to be placed under the supervision of the Board of Parole and
Probation.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 126 (a) of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Replacement Volume), title "The Executive Depart-
ment", subtitle "Department of Parole and Probation", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
126.
(a) Whenever the circuit court of any county, [or] the Criminal
Court of Baltimore City, or the People's Court of Anne Arundel
County shall suspend the sentence of any person convicted of crime,
and shall direct such person to continue, for a certain time, or until
otherwise ordered, under the supervision of the Board of Parole and
Probation, it shall be the duty of the said Board to supervise, when
so requested by said court, the conduct of such person and to ascer-
tain and report to said court whether or not the conditions of such
probation or suspension of sentence are being faithfully complied
with by such person.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.
