(House Bill 364)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51 (m)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County
Treasurers," increasing the annual salary of the County Treasurer
of Frederick County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51 (m) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Replacement Volume) title "County Commissioners," sub-
title "County Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

51.

(m) The county treasurer of Frederick County shall receive an
annual salary of [$10,000.00.] $12,000.00.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing contained herein
shall affect the salary of the County Treasurer of Frederick County
who may be in office at the time this Act becomes effective nor
shall the salary of the Treasurer be changed for the remainder of
the term in which the present Treasurer is serving.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51 (k)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County
Treasurers," increasing the salary of the County Treasurer for
Harford County and making provision for the application of this
Act.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51 (k) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1966 Replacement Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle
"County Treasurers," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

51.

(k) The county treasurer of Harford County shall receive an
annual salary of [$9,000.00] $12,000.00 and this shall be his sole
compensation for services performed by him of any character what-
ever, including the issuance of licenses. The treasurer shall appoint
