BLE TO FILE A CLAIM FOR REMUNERATION IN AN
AMOUNT EQUAL TO OR IN EXCESS OF HIS WEEKLY BENE-
FIT AMOUNT IN THE FORM OF A PENSION OR ANNUITY
UNDER A PRIVATE PENSION PLAN, AS PROVIDED BELOW:

(1)   THE ENTIRE AMOUNT WHICH AN INDIVIDUAL RE-
CEIVED OR WILL RECEIVE WITH RESPECT TO A WEEK IN
THE FORM OF A RETIREMENT PAYMENT FROM AN EM-
PLOYING UNIT FOR WHICH HE PERFORMED SERVICES
AND WHICH PAYS ALL OF THE COST OF SUCH RETIRE-
MENT PAYMENT, OR FROM A TRUST, ANNUITY OR INSUR-
ANCE FUND, OR UNDER AN ANNUITY OR INSURANCE CON-
TRACT, TO OR UNDER WHICH AN EMPLOYING UNIT FOR
WHICH HE PERFORMED SERVICES PAYS OR HAS PAID ALL
THE PREMIUMS OR CONTRIBUTIONS; AND

(2)   ONE-HALF OF THE AMOUNT WHICH AN INDIVIDUAL
HAS RECEIVED OR WILL RECEIVE WITH RESPECT TO A
WEEK IN THE FORM OF A RETIREMENT PAYMENT FROM
AN EMPLOYING UNIT FOR WHICH HE PERFORMED SERV-
ICES AND WHICH PAYS SOME, BUT NOT ALL, OF THE
COST OF SUCH RETIREMENT, OR FROM A TRUST, ANNUITY
OR INSURANCE FUND, OR UNDER AN ANNUITY OR IN-
SURANCE CONTRACT, TO OR UNDER WHICH AN EMPLOY-
ING UNIT FOR WHICH HE PERFORMED SERVICES PAYS
OR HAS PAID SOME, BUT NOT ALL OF THE PREMIUMS OR
CONTRIBUTIONS.

EXCEPT, THAT IF SUCH REMUNERATION IS LESS THAN
HIS WEEKLY BENEFIT AMOUNT AN OTHERWISE ELIGIBLE
INDIVIDUAL SHALL NOT BE DEEMED INELIGIBLE AND
SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE FOR SUCH WEEK BENE-
FITS REDUCED BY THE AMOUNT OF SUCH PAYMENTS.
ANY BENEFIT PAYMENT REDUCED BECAUSE OF THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL CONSTITUTE A FULL
WEEK'S BENEFITS FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPUTING
DURATION DURING THE BENEFIT YEAR.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 510)

AN ACT to add new Section 283B to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1965 Repl. Vol.), title "Public Education",
subtitle "Chapter 27. Free Scholarships", to follow immediately
after Section 283A thereof, providing that any college student
or other person, who is under twenty-one years of age, may, for the
purpose of obtaining benefits under any State scholarship, loan,
or tuition fee grant, remission of fixed charges, or fellowship,
pursuant to this Article, execute notes, contracts or make agree-
ments as may be necessary to obtain such benefits in the same
manner and with the same effect as though twenty-one years
