TO THE DATE OF REDEMPTION OF SUCH BONDS AND, IF
DEEMED ADVISABLE BY THE COMMISSION, FOR ANY ONE
OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL PURPOSES:
(A) CONSTRUCTING IMPROVEMENTS OF ANY PROJECT OR
PROJECTS IN CONNECTION WITH WHICH BONDS SHALL
HAVE BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SUBHEADING, AND (B) PAYING ALL OR ANY PART OF THE
COST OF ANY ADDITIONAL PROJECT OR PROJECTS. IN
CASE THE COMMISSION, PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF ANY
REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS, SHALL HAVE EXPENDED
ANY SUM NOT DERIVED FROM THE REVENUES OF A PROJ-
ECT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING A PART OF THE COST
OF MAINTAINING, REPAIRING AND OPERATING SUCH
PROJECT, THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS
ISSUED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION MAY
BE INCREASED TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY TO PROVIDE
FUNDS FOR REIMBURSING THE COMMISSION THE SUM
THERETOFORE SO EXPENDED. THE ISSUANCE OF SUCH
BONDS, THE MATURITIES AND OTHER DETAILS THEREOF,
THE RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF THE HOLDERS THEREOF,
AND THE RIGHTS, DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE COM-
MISSION IN RESPECT OF THE SAME, SHALL BE GOVERNED
BY THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBHEADING INSOFAR AS
THE SAME MAY BE APPLICABLE.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 519
(Senate Bill 125)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 45 (a)
of Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Public Service Commission Law", subtitle
"Public Service Companies", subheading "Carrier Companies", to
provide that no taxicab business shall be operated in the City of
Cumberland without a written permit from the Public Service
Commission and correcting an error therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 45 (a) of Article 78 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Replacement Volume), title "Public Service Commission
Law", subtitle "Public Service Companies", subheading "Carrier
Companies", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

45. (a) No taxicab business shall be operated in any incorporated
city or town having a population of more than 50,000 persons or in
Baltimore County or the City of Cumberland, or between points
[with] within such city, county or town and points outside thereof,
without a written permit from the Commission.
