or in part in the manner and under the procedures specified herein the
properties and the improvements thereon described herein within
and without the City of Annapolis and for this purpose to use any
funds available from time to time. If any property is acquired by
condemnation, it shall be according to the procedures in Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended from time to time.
Any properties so acquired shall be used for the purposes and uses
of the State of Maryland, and if no longer needed for such purposes
may be sold or conveyed for another use.

(B) The Board is authorized to acquire by purchase FOR A
TOTAL SUM NOT IN EXCESS OF SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($600,000.00), gift or, if necessary, condemnation the fol-
lowing two parcels of land owned by the Naval Academy Athletic
Association and to acquire all interests in these parcels, whether of
record or not, by whomever owned:

1. That property situate in or near the City of Annapolis, bounded
generally by Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, Taylor Avenue and the W. B.
and A. Railroad and more particularly described as follows: Beginning
for the same at a point on the southeast side of Taylor Avenue, said
point having State of Maryland Grid System coordinates of North
419,240.39 East 940,549.33 as according to a survey done by James D.
Hicks and associates dated July 22, 1963, thence from said point of
beginning the eight following courses and distances, viz: (1) North
57 Degrees 54 Minutes 40 Seconds East 574.40 feet, (2) South 81
Degrees 03 Minutes 30 Seconds East 382.85 feet, (3) South 37 Degrees
56 Minutes 30 Seconds East 66.29 feet, (4) South 74 Degrees 49
Minutes 30 Seconds East 164.61 feet, (5) South 6 Degrees 55 Minutes
10 Seconds East 25.07 feet, (6) South 79 Degrees 06 Minutes 50
Seconds East 128.66 feet, (7) South 72 Degrees 54 Minutes 00 Seconds
East 90.33 feet, (8) South 43 Degrees 58 Minutes 50 Seconds East
92.06 feet to a point being distant 33 feet westerly from the center line
between rails of the Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric
Railroad Company's track, leading across College Creek to Cedar Park,
measured at right angles to said center line and running thence parallel
to said center line and distant 33 feet westerly therefrom the four
following courses and distances, viz: (9) North 1 Degree 45 Minutes
40 seconds East 185.82 feet, (10) North 1 Degree 39 Minutes 00 Sec-
onds East 282.64 feet, thence by a curve to the left, said curve being-
parallel to said center line and distant 33 feet westerly at all points
therefrom, courses and distances of chords of said curve, starting at
said last mentioned point, the following two courses and distances, viz:
(11) North 1 Degree 22 Minutes 20 Seconds West 97.82 feet, (12)
North 7 Degrees 35 Minutes 20 Seconds West 88.81 feet to a point
intersecting the southwest side of Roscoe Rowe Boulevard, thence
leaving the west side of said Railroad right of way and running on the
north west side of aforementioned boulevard the following course
and distance, (13) North 52 Degrees 12 Minutes 20 Seconds East
850.05 feet, thence leaving the north west side of Roscoe Rowe Boule-
vard, (14) South 79 Degrees 58 Minutes 00 Seconds West 75.74 feet
to a point on the south east side of Taylor Avenue, thence along the
south east side of Taylor Avenue the two following courses and
distances, viz: (15) South 41 Degrees 48 Minutes 10 Seconds West
148.15 feet, (16) thence by a line curving to the left, said arc having
a radius of 2,044.69 feet for a distance of 1,187.02 feet (chord bearing
of said arc being South 25 Degrees 10 Minutes 40 Seconds West
