(f) [No] Each member of said Board of Education shall receive
compensation for his services [, but shall receive an allowance of
$300.00 annually] at the rate of thirty dollar ($30.00) per meeting
of said Board which the member attends in person, but not to exceed
thirty dollars ($30.00) for any one day or the sum of three thousand
dollars ($3,000.00) for any one year or such larger AND SHALL
RECEIVE IN ADDITION SUCH $2400.00 ANNUALLY OR SUCH
LARGER sum for travel and other expenses as may be provided by
the County Council of Montgomery County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to add new Section 71C to Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Supplement), title
"Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Disposition of Lost, Abandoned and
Stolen Motor Vehicles," to follow immediately after Section 71B
thereof, providing for the disposition of lost, abandoned and stolen
motor vehicles, and parts thereof, in any municipal corporation,
as defined by Article 23A, Section 9, as amended, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, in this State and empowering the governing
body of any said municipal corporation to make rules and regula-
tions with regard to the taking custody of and disposition of lost,
abandoned and stolen motor vehicles and parts thereof and to
provide penalties for the violation of said rules and regulations.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 71C be and it is hereby added to Article 66½ of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1965 Supple-
ment), title "Motor Vehicles," subtitle "Disposition of Lost, Aban-
doned and Stolen Motor Vehicles," to follow immediately after Section
71B thereof, and to read as follows:
71C.
Same—Municipal Corporations
Whenever, the owner, or person, firm or corporation entitled to
the possession of any motor vehicle, or part thereof, cannot be
located and fails to claim said motor vehicle, or part thereof, for
a period of thirty (30) days after said motor vehicle, or part thereof,
came into the custody of the Police Department for any municipal
corporation, as defined by Article 23A, Section 9, as amended, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, in this State pursuant to the rules
and regulations hereinafter authorized to be made, the same may be
disposed of by the said Police Department, at public sale, provided
the time, place and terms of sale, together with a full detailed de-
