AN ACT to legalize the 1965 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Charles County, being Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the
Board of County Commissioners of Charles County and edited by
Carl N. Everstine, and making provision for the publication, sale
and distribution of this Code.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1965 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, published under the direction of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Charles County and edited by Carl N. Everstine, is le-
galized. The Code shall contain all public local laws relating to
Charles County following the 1965 regular session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the charters of the several
municipal corporations within Charles County. The Code shall be
deemed and taken in all the courts of the State, by all justices of
the peace and trial magistrates of the State, and by all other public
officials of the State and of its several political subdivisions, to be
evidence of the public local laws of Charles County in effect at the
time of compilation.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County Com-
missioner of Charles County is authorized and directed to make an
appropriation to provide for the publication of the Code, and the
Board is further authorized to provide for the sale and distribution of
the Code.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 51 (1)
of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "County Treas-
urers," increasing the salary of the county treasurer of Dorches-
ter County.
