several institutions and agencies in the Department, including the
so-called State-use industries and work done under the so-called
State-Use Industries Fund.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section 5 be and
it is hereby added to Article 64A of the said Code (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Merit System," to follow immediately after
Section 4 thereof, and to read as follows:
Article 64A

The position of Deputy Commissioner of Correction shall not be
included in the classified service.
SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THE POSI-
TION OF INDUSTRIES ASSISTANT DIRECTOR IN STATE USE
INDUSTRIES SHALL BE CHANGED TO THE POSITION OF IN-
DUSTRIES GENERAL MANAGER. ON THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THIS ACT, THE INCUMBENT IN THE POSITION OF IN-
DUSTRIES ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, PROVIDED HE HAS HELD
THIS POSITION FOR NOT LESS THAN THE SIX MONTHS IM-
MEDIATELY PRECEDING, SHALL BECOME THE INDUS-
TRIES GENERAL MANAGER, AND BE SUBJECT GEN-
ERALLY, EXCEPT AS IN THIS SECTION OTHERWISE
PROVIDED, TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOY-
MENT HELD BY HIM PRIOR THERETO.
Sec. 3 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 388
(House Bill 66)
AN ACT to add new Section 246B to Article 66½ of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles," sub-
title "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways," to follow immedi-
ately after Section 246 thereof, to provide that parking an
automobile upon the property of another shall be unlawful, when
the property owner, his tenant, or agent requests that the auto-
mobile be removed and to provide a penalty for breach of this law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 246B be and it is hereby added to Article 66½ of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Ve-
hicles," subtitle "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways," to follow
immediately after Section 246 thereof, and to read as follows:
246B.
No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it
to be stopped, standing or parked on the property of another person,
