CHAPTER 323
(House Bill 38)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 213 (d)
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "Elections," subtitle "Corrupt Practices," correcting
an error in the corrupt practices act as part of the election laws
with particular respect to the appointment and filing of the name
of a treasurer.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 213 (d) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "Corrupt Prac-
tices," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

213.

(d) Any candidate, after filing the name of a treasurer as pre-
scribed in Section [213 212] 213 (a), may choose, at any time after
such filing and the first filing as required in Section 223 (a) (1), to
join a group, combination or organization of candidates, commonly
known as a "ticket" or "slate," at which time the candidate must
notify the clerk of the court of the county or Baltimore City, or the
Secretary of State, as the case may be, of the fact that he has joined
said ticket or slate. The treasurer of said ticket or slate shall report
just as the treasurer of any political committee as prescribed in
Section 214(a).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 324
(House Bill 41)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4-O (f)
of Article 14B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "State Boat Act," correcting an error in the State
boat act with particular respect to manufacturer's and dealer's
licenses thereunder and to the transfer of vessel numbers.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4-O (f) of Article 14B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1965 Supplement), title "State Boat Act," be and it hereby
repealed and-re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

4-O.

(f) Numbers displayed by authority of manufacturer's [of] or
dealer's certificates of number may be transferred from one vessel
to another vessel owned by the manufacturer or dealer and may be
