CHAPTER 267
(Senate Bill 363)

AN ACT to add new Section 211 H-5 to Article 89B of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume) title "State
Roads", subtitle "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and Pro-
gramming and Scheduling of Highway Projects" to follow im-
mediately after Section 211 H-4, amending the Twenty Year
Highway Need Study of the State Roads Commission to show
the need for another bridge connecting Ocean City with the
mainland.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 211 H-5 be and it is hereby added to Article
89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume)
title "State Roads", sub-title "Expenditure of Commission's Funds
and Programming and Scheduling of Highway Projects", to follow
immediately after Section 211 H-4, thereof and to read as follows:

211 H-5.

The official Twenty Year Highway Need Study of the State
Roads Commission is hereby amended to show the need for an
additional bridge across the Sinepuxent Bay connecting Ocean City,
Maryland, with the mainland. Such bridge shall be constructed at
such location as is selected by the State Roads Commission and its
construction is hereby authorized to be undertaken as soon as is
practicable to do so.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1967, 1966.

CHAPTER 268
(Senate Bill 580)

AN ACT to add new Section 145A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, being Article 19 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's County", to
follow immediately after Section 145 thereof, and to be under the
new subtitle "Refuse Disposal", to provide that the County Com-
missioners of St. Mary's County may acquire, maintain and operate
lands for the disposal of refuse, garbage, rubbish or other matter,
and may construct, maintain and operate incinerators or other
refuse disposal plants and centers for the disposal of such matter,
and to generally include other provisions and authorizations for
the maintenance, use and funding of this section.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 145A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County (1965 Edition, being Article
19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "St. Mary's
County'', to follow immediately after Section 145 thereof, and to be
under the new subtitle "Refuse Disposal", and to read as follows:
