as he deems proper and cause a separate accounting on the records
of the Comptroller, both for receipts and disbursements of such
funds.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 25)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 109 (a)
(20) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment), title "Courts", subtitle "Municipal Court of Baltimore
City", correcting an error in the laws relating to the jurisdiction
of the Municipal Court of Baltimore City.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 109 (a) (20) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Courts", subtitle "Municipal
Court of Baltimore City", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(20) False pretense offenses punishable under Maryland Code,
Article 27, Section 140 (money, etc.), Section 141 (credit), Section
142 (bad check) and Section 144 (stop payment) in all [three] four
instances only when the value does not exceed $500.; Sections 147
and 148.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 30)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1 of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement),
title "Licenses", subtitle "Mode of Issuing—General Provisions",
eliminating from this section certain provisions which concern the
issue of traders' licenses and which provisions are essentially dup-
licated in Section 2A of said Article 56.
Whereas, in Section 1 of Article 56 of the Code concerning the
issue of traders' licenses, there are provisions relating to the value
of the merchandise, fixtures, and stock in trade and to the duties of
the several clerks of court on the issue of these licenses; and
