J. MILLARD TAWES, Governor                     1399

a.    Two municipal office holders, at least one of whom shall be
an elected office holder designated by the Prince George's County
Municipal Association,

b.    One member of The Maryland-National Capital Park and
Planning Commission, designated by said Commission,

c.    One member of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commis-
sion, designated by said Commission,

d.    Two persons designated by the Board of County Commissioners
of Prince George's County, at least one of whom shall be a County
Commissioner,

e.    One member of the Board of Education of Prince George's
County, designated by said Board;

Said members shall serve at the pleasure of the governmental body
so designating them, and, in the event there is a vacancy on the
Commission by reason of death, resignation, or refusal to serve by
any member of said Commission, then said vacancy shall be filled
in the same manner as the original appointments; and be it further

Resolved, That the Commission shall conduct monthly meetings in
such places in Prince George's County as it may determine; and
shall make recommendations to the respective government author-
ities in Prince George's County and to the General Assembly of
Maryland with regard to problems brought to its attention; and be
it further

Resolved, That the members of the Commission shall receive no
compensation for their services as such members; but the Board of
County Commissioners of Prince George's County is hereby author-
ized and empowered to provide such clerical and secretarial services
as shall be required by the Commission and to provide for payment
of other expenses incurred by the Commission and its members in
the performance of the Commission's functions; and be it further

Resolved, That the Board of County Commissioners is hereby
requested to notify the several governmental bodies listed herein-
above of this Joint Resolution requesting that they comply with its
provisions and designate the persons to serve as members of the
Commission established hereby, and that the said Board of County
Commissioners shall convene the first meeting of the said Commis-
sion as expeditiously as possible.
