Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 306(f) of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Insurance," subtitle "19.
Fraternal Benefit Societies," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

306.

(f) Orders, societies or associations [Societies], exempted under
the provisions of this section, shall also be exempt from all other
provisions of the insurance laws of this State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 716
(House Bill 1078)

AN ACT to add new Section 713(j) (3) to Article 66C of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Natural
Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams," to follow immediately
after Section 713(j) (2), to prohibit the taking of soft-shell
clams within 150 feet of certain structures.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 713(j) (3) be and it is hereby added to Article
66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title
"Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams," to follow im-
mediately after Section 713(j) (2) thereof, and to read as follows:

713.

(j) (3) Within 150 feet of any bulkhead, wharf, pier, structure
or appurtenance constructed or erected in, out in, over or under any
of the waters of this State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to add new Sections 82(g) AND 82 (H) to Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement), title "Elections,"
subtitle "Party Governing Bodies," to follow immediately after
Section 82 (f) thereof, to provide for the number of members of
the central committee of the Democratic Party AND THE STATE
