at the conclusion of the drawing aforesaid, or be disqualified or
excused for cause, the court shall forthwith proceed to fill such
vacancy or vacancies from the remaining number of [twenty-five]
fifty names in the manner aforesaid, of those who are present in the
order in which said vacancy or vacancies shall exist, the juror first
drawn to fill such vacancy, and who shall be present to be sub-
stituted in the place and stead of the first vacancy on the list, and so
on until all vacancies are filled. The said judge or judges may there-
upon, in his or their discretion, fill such vacancy or vacancies thus
made in the petit [jury] juries by drawing the necessary number
of additional names therefor in the manner provided in Section 538
of this subtitle.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(House Bill 952)

AN ACT to repeal Section 425A of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County,"
subtitle "Plumbing," as said section was enacted by Chapter 306
of the Acts of 1961 and amended by Chapter 268 of the Acts of
1963 and to add a new Section 306A to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Caroline County (1965 Edition, being Article 6 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Caroline County,"
to follow immediately after Section 306 thereof and to be under
the new subtitle "Plumbing," amending the laws relating to the
plumbing board of Caroline County, changing the membership of
this board, codifying these provisions, and relating generally to the
plumbing board of Caroline County and to duties of the County
Commissioners in relation thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 425A of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County," subtitle "Plumb-
ing," as said section was enacted by Chapter 306 of the Acts of
1961 and amended by Chapter 268 of the Acts of 1963, be and it is
hereby repealed and that a new Section 306A be and it is hereby added
to the Code of Public Local Laws of Caroline County (1965 Edition,
being Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Caroline County," to follow immediately after Section 306 thereof, to
be under the new subtitle "Plumbing," and to read as follows:

306.

(a) The Board of County Commissioners of Caroline County may
create a Caroline County Plumbing Board to consist of five members.
One of the members shall be a licensed master plumber residing in
Caroline County and shall be appointed annually by the County
