and Copies of Registration Lists," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(d) In Worcester County at least once every four years beginning
in [1965] 1966 the Board shall combine all previous general lists of
registered voters for each election precinct or district issued prior
to [1965] 1966 with all supplements to general lists issued prior to
[1965] 1966 into a new cumulative list of the registered voters of the
precincts or districts. In every fourth year thereafter the Board shall
similarly issue a new cumulative list of registered voters.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(House Bill 353)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 37 of
Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replace-
ment Volume and 1965 Cumulative Supplement), title "Merit Sys-
tem," in order to provide that State employees shall be entitled
to 20 days vacation upon attaining 20 years service instead of 25
years service AND REDEFINING THE TERM "YEARS OF
SERVICE".
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 37 of Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume and 1965 Cumulative Supplement), title
"Merit System," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
Section 37. Vacation and sick leave.
(a) Amount of vacation and sick leave allowable.—From and
after January 1, [1962] 1966, every classified employee shall re-
ceive as annual vacation in each calendar year, a leave of absence
with pay as follows:
Less than 5 years of service—10 working days
5 to less than [25] 20 years of service—15 working days
[25] 20 years of service and more—20 working days, provided,
however, that every classified State employee on January 1,
1957, who as of that date shall have less than five (5) years of
service shall be entitled to receive, as vacation in each calendar
year until his period of service reaches [25] 20 years, a leave of
absence with pay of fifteen (15) working days. The term "years of
service," as used herein shall include any previous continuous State
service in excess of one year as an unclassified employee.
Any employee using less than full vacation leave allowable begin-
ning January 1, 1942, shall be entitled to have such unused leave ac-
