40A-9.

(a)    The Trust is authorized to receive and Prince George's
County is authorized to pay over and transfer to the Trust from
time to time, subject to the limitations of subsection (b) of this
section, monies or property to carry out the purpose of the Trust,
provided that property transferred by the county to the Trust or
purchased with funds paid by the county to the Trust and designated
for such purchase may not be absolutely disposed of by the Trust
without the approval of the Board of County Commissioners.

(b)    The Board of County Commissioners may appropriate from
time to time such sums as the Board may determine to be necessary
for the purposes of the Trust.

40A-10.

Subject to the terms of Section 40A-9, the Trust is authorized to
sell, convey, assign, lease, or otherwise transfer or dispose of any
property held by it and enter into any contracts incident thereto,
including but not limited to the authority to lease properties for
residential or commercial use, for such term and upon such condi-
tions as the Trustees deem appropriate, provided that any leases
made by the Trust shall be in immediate furtherance of the pur-
pose of the Trust and not merely for investment purposes. Notwith-
standing anything by law to the contrary provided, no lease made
by the Trust shall be subject to redemption at the option of the
tenant, unless expressly so provided therein.

40A-11.

Nothing herein contained shall be construed to limit the power or
activity^ of any agency of this State or any subdivision thereof or
any private agency or person interested in antiquities or the history
of Prince George's County from earliest times.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(House Bill 173)

AN ACT relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary District,
repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Chapter 311 of the
Acts of 1965, to add an additional area in Montgomery County to
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District which was heretofore
excluded from the District as being within the Maximum Expan-
sion Area of the City of Rockville, making editorial corrections to
said Chapter 311 of the Acts of 1965, all thereby repealing and
re-enacting, with amendments, subsections (a) and (b) of Section
83-49 of the Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1963
Edition) and also designating the same as Section 73-41A, sub-
sections (a) and (b) of the Montgomery County Code (1960
