provisions of Section 282 of this article, shall be educated by the
School free of charge for tuition, room and board.

272.

There is hereby established a program of State scholarships for
students enrolled in Washington College at Chestertown.

(a)   Beginning for the academic year 1966-67 and thereafter, one
student from each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial district of [the
State] Baltimore City, and each county, appointed according to the
provisions of Section 282 of this article, shall be educated by the
College free of charge for tuition, room and board. Each student
accepting such an appointment shall pursue a course of study at the
College leading to a regular teacher's certificate in the public school
system of Maryland, and shall give bond to the State of Maryland,
according to the provisions of Section 284B of this article, that he or
she will teach in the public schools of the State for not less than two
years.

(b)   Beginning for the academic year 1967-68 and thereafter, one
student from each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial district of [the
State] Baltimore City, and each county, appointed according to the
provisions of Section 282 of this article, and beginning for the
academic year 1968-69 and thereafter, one additional student from
each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial district of [the State] Balti-
more City, and each county,
appointed according to Section 282 of
this article, shall be educated by the College free of charge for
tuition.

280.

(a)   Beginning for the academic year 1966-67 and thereafter, one
student from each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial district of [the
State] Baltimore City, and each county, appointed according to the
provisions of Section 282 of this article, shall be educated by the
University free of charge for tuition, room and board. Each student
accepting such an appointment shall pursue a course of study at the
University leading to a regular teacher's certificate in the public
school system of Maryland, and shall give bond to the State of Mary-
land, according to the provisions of Section 284B of this article, that
he or she will teach in the public schools of the State for not less than
two years.

(b)   Beginning for the academic year 1967-68 and thereafter, one
student from each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial district of [the
State] Blatimore BALTIMORE City, and each county, appointed
according to the provisions of Section 282 of this article, and begins
ning for the academic year 1986 69 1968-69 and thereafter, one
additional student from each COUNTY AND EACH senatorial dis-
trict of [the State] Baltimore City, and each county, appointed
according to Section 282 of this article, shall be educated by the
University free of charge for tuition.
