the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Refund of Taxes", to
follow immediately after Section 214A thereof, and to read as
follows:

214B.

The County Commissioners of Washington County, by resolution,
may provide for a tax credit or a refund of taxes during the year
1966, of an amount equal to approximately one-half of the tax on
stock in trade of every person, firm, or corporation engaged in any
manufacturing or warehousing business, collected by the county for
the taxable period January 1 to June 30, inclusive, 1964, and may
provide for a tax credit or a refund of all of the tax collected on
such property for the half year period from January 1 to June 30,
inclusive, 1965.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1965. Automatically and with no further action required
by the General Assembly it shall expire on December 31, 1966.

CHAPTER 689
(Senate Bill 645)

AN ACT to add new Section 203B (f) to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Washington County (1957 Edition, being Article 22 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Washington
County", sub-title "Deer Damage Commission", to follow imme-
diately after Section 203B (e) thereof, as added by Chapter 386 of
the Acts of 1963, to require the Game and Inland Fish Commission
to consult with the Deer Damage Commission in Washington
County before issuing certain deer permits.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 203B (f) be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Washington County (1957 Edition, being
Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Washington County", sub-title "Deer Damage Commission", to
follow immediately after Section 203B (e) thereof, as added by
Chapter 386 of the Acts of 1963, and to read as follows:

203B.

(f) Whenever the Game and Inland Fish Commission issues in
excess of one permit for each deer killed during any calendar year
as a result of crop damage, the said Commission shall consult with
the Deer Damage Commission of Washington County before issuing
further permits.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
