(10)   BAILIFFS IN QUEEN ANNE'S AND CAROLINE COUN-
TIES SHALL EACH RECEIVE SEVEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY
CENTS ($7.50) PER DAY.

(11)   BAILIFFS IN CHARLES COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN
AMOUNT PER DAY TO BE DETERMINED BY THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS AND APPROVED BY THE CIRCUIT COURT
OF CHARLES COUNTY, NOT TO EXCEED, HOWEVER, THE
AMOUNT PAID TO JURORS.

(12)   BAILIFFS IN ST. MARY'S, SOMERSET, WORCESTER
AND KENT COUNTIES SHALL EACH RECEIVE TEN DOL-
LARS ($10.00) PER DAY.

(13)   BAILIFFS IN DORCHESTER COUNTY SHALL RE-
CEIVE TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) FOR EACH DAY THEY AT-
TEND THE CIRCUIT COURT.

25.

(a) Jurors in Washington County shall receive eight dollars per
day and a reasonable amount, in the discretion of the County Com-
missioners for each mile over five miles in going to and returning
from court; in Kent, Queen Anne's and Caroline counties, and in
Baltimore City, seven dollars and fifty cents per day; [in Somerset
County, seven dollars and fifty cents per day;] in Anne Arundel
[and], Montgomery and Somerset counties, ten dollars per day, and
no extra allowance shall be given either for mileage or overtime in
Anne Arundel [and], Montgomery and Somerset counties; in Carroll
County, eight dollars per day; in Prince George's County, jurors
shall receive per diem compensation, not less than five ($5.00)
dollars nor more than ten ($10.00) dollars, in such amounts as shall
be set, from time to time, by the judges of the Circuit Court for
said county and in all other counties, except Allegany, Baltimore,
Calvert, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Charles, St. Mary's
and Wicomico counties, five dollars per day for each and every day
they shall attend the several courts of this State as jurors and
fifteen cents for each mile over five miles for going to and returning
from the court, once in each term, to be paid by the counties,
respectively, in which courts are held. In Baltimore County, jurors
shall receive per diem compensation in such amount as shall be set,
from time to time, by the judges of the Circuit Court of Baltimore
County. Jurors in Frederick County shall receive at least eight
dollars per day for each and every day they shall attend the Circuit
Court of Frederick County as jurors and a reasonable amount in the
discretion of the County Commissioners, for each mile going to and
returning from the court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 146 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Somerset County (1963 Edition, being
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Somerset County", sub-title "Jurors", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

146.

The collector of taxes for said county shall pay each juryman,
immediately after the termination of each term, such sum of money
as he may be entitled to receive for his attendance; and a certificate,
