(Senate Bill 143)
AN ACT to repeal Section 39 of Article 19 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County",
sub-title "Charlotte Hall", repealing an obsolete and unnecessary
local law of St. Mary's County concerning the sale or disposition
of spirituous liquors to certain persons in or near the village of
Charlotte Hall.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 39 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Char-
lotte Hall", be and it is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 77
(Senate Bill 214
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 118 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County (1961 Edition, being
Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Cecil County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as last amended
by Chapter 825 of the Acts of 1963, to include a specific money
provision for the Chesapeake City Fire Company ambulance in the
list of appropriations for various voluntary fire companies in
Cecil County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 118 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County
(1961 Edition, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Cecil County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
as last amended by Chapter 825 of the Acts of 1963, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
118.
Volunteer fire companies; appropriations.
The County Commissioners of Cecil County are hereby directed to
levy, on the assessable property in Cecil County, annually, the sum
of Thirty three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($33,600.00) THIR-
TY-FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS ($34,600.00)
for the purpose of assisting in the maintenance and operation of the
nine volunteer fire companies in Cecil County, in the following
amounts; provided, that in order to be eligible for any of the follow-
ing amounts, each of the said nine volunteer fire companies named
herein shall meet the minimum specifications and standards for
approval laid down by the Harford and Cecil County Volunteer
Firemen's Association.
