REPUBLICAN PARTIES TWELVE COPIES EACH OF THE
NEW LIST OF REGISTERED VOTERS IN THE COUNTY. IN
ADDITION THERETO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
ELECTIONS SHALL CAUSE A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF
COPIES, NOT TO EXCEED 50, OF THE NEW LIST OF REGIS-
TERED VOTERS IN THE COUNTY TO BE MADE AVAILABLE
FOR DISTRIBUTION TO SUCH CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC
OFFICE AS MAY APPLY THEREFORE.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 573
(Senate Bill 220)

AN ACT to add a new Section 326 (y) to Article 81 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title
"Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Retail Sales Tax Act", to follow
immediately after Section 326 (x) thereof, providing an exemp-
tion under the Retail Sales Tax Act for sales in the form of a
demurrage charge on gas cylinders under certain conditions.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 326 (y) be and it is hereby added to Article 81 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supple-
ment), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "Retail Sales Tax Act",
to follow immediately after Section 326 (x) thereof, and to read as
follows:

326.

(y) Sales in the form of a demurrage charge on what is generally
referred to as a gas cylinder, when not imposed as a rental charge
but rather as a penalty for a failure to return the cylinder within a
designated period.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 574
(Senate Bill 238)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-sections (a)
and (f) of Section 375 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume), title "Insurance Code",
sub-title "22. The Insurance Contract; General", RELATING to
extend certain requirements of filing and approval of forms to
group policies of life insurance and health insurance and to group
annuity contracts. IN LOOSE-LEAF.
