sub-title "Election Districts", and to enact a new Section 66 in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section so repealed, clarifying
the provisions concerning the description of the election districts
in St. Mary's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 66 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Elec-
tion Districts", be and it is hereby repealed; and that a new Section
66 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place
of the section so repealed, and to read as follows:

[66. St. Mary's County is divided into nine election districts,
according to their present names, bounds and limits, and all elections
for public officers shall be held, in each of said districts, at the place
now established for that purpose.]

66. St. Mary's County is divided into nine election districts,
according to the names, bounds, and limits heretofore established and
as set forth on the "Map of St. Mary's County showing the Topog-
raphy and Election Districts", revised in 1952 by the State Depart-
ment of Geology, Mines and Water Resources. All elections for public
office shall be held in each of said districts at the places heretofore
established for that purpose, until and unless the locations are
changed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(Senate Bill 189)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 59 of
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", as said section was last amended by Chapter 447 of the
Acts of 1941; to repeal Section 48 of said Article and sub-title;
to repeal Section 54A of said Article and sub-title, as this section
was enacted by Chapter 824 of the Acts of 1945; to repeal Section
58 of said Article and sub-title; and to repeal Section 59A of said
Article and sub-title, as enacted by Chapter 108 of the Acts of
1955, repealing certain unnecessary, obsolete and inapplicable
local laws relating to the powers, duties and functions of the
County Commissioners of St. Mary's County.
