AN ACT to repeal Sections 168 to 175, inclusive, of Article 6 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Caroline County", sub-title "Election Districts", and to enact a
new Section 168 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the sections
so repealed, revising the provisions concerning the several election
districts in Caroline County, making provision for the boundaries
of these districts and for the places for holding elections for
public office.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 168 to 175, inclusive, of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County",
sub-title "Election Districts", be and they are hereby repealed, and
that new Section 168 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to
stand in the place of the sections so repealed, and to read as follows:
168. Caroline County is divided into eight election districts accord-
ing to the names, boundaries and limits heretofore established and
as set forth on the "Map of Caroline County showing Topography and
the Election Districts", revised as of 1950 by the State Department
of Geology, Mines and Water Resources. All elections for public
office shall be held in each of said districts at the places heretofore
established for that purpose, unless and until the locations are
changed by the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Caroline County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
