Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

AN ACT to legalize the 1965 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Carroll County, being Article 7 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the
Board of County Commissioners of Carroll County and edited by
Carl N. Everstine, and making provision for the publication, sale
and distribution of this Code.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1965 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll
County, being Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, published under the direction of the Board of County Com-
missioners of Carroll County and edited by Carl N. Everstine, is
legalized. The Code shall contain all public local laws relating to
Carroll County following the 1965 regular session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, and it shall contain the charters of the
several municipal corporations within Carroll County as in effect on
April 1, 1965. The Code shall be deemed and taken in all the courts
of the State, by all justices of the peace and trial magistrates of the
State, and by all other public officials of the State and of its several
political subdivisions, to be evidence of the public local laws of
Carroll County in effect at the time of compilation.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County
Commissioners of Carroll County is authorized and directed to make
an appropriation to provide for the publication of the Code, and the
Board is further authorized to provide for the sale and distribution
of the Code.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
