name corresponds to which number. As each marble is drawn, it
shall be handed to the judge, who shall announce the number thereon
and the name on the said selected and certified list whose number
corresponds therewith; and the forty-eight names corresponding by
numbers to the forty-eight numbers on the marbles so drawn and the
said numbers shall be recorded in the presence of the said judge; the
forty-eight marbles drawn shall be sealed up safely, and preserved
by the Clerk; the marbles that were not drawn shall remain in the
box wherein they were deposited, which shall be locked or sealed, to
be used in filling vacancies that may occur in the jury. Thereupon
the judges or judge shall order a venire facias directed to the Sheriff
of said county, commanding him to summon as jurors, to attend at
the next ensuing jury term of said court, the several persons whose
names shall be drawn, as aforesaid; and if any such persons are dead,
or by sickness or any other cause are unable to attend, or returned
non est by the sheriff, it shall be the duty of the sheriff to immediately
return the fact to the said judges or judge, who shall thereupon cause
to be drawn from the compartments of said box for the election dis-
trict in which said deceased or sick juror resided, in the manner di-
rected, other names in the place or stead of the originals who may be
dead, disabled or absent, and shall have the name or names of such
person or persons so last aforesaid drawn to be inserted in the said
venire facias to be summoned as aforesaid; and it shall be the duty of
the said sheriff to summon the persons named to make return thereof
to said court at the opening of its session; provided, however, that no
person, during any calendar year, shall serve as a drawn juror oftener
than one term of the court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 528
(Senate Bill 518)

AN ACT to add a new Section 201A to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-
title "Chapter 16. Public Libraries", to follow immediately after
Section 201 thereof, authorizing the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Harford County to borrow funds toward capital con-
struction costs of public library buildings in Harford County, and
relating to such borrowing and to its repayment.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 201A be and it is hereby added to Article 77 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Public Edu-
cation", sub-title "Chapter 16. Public Libraries", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 201 thereof and to read as follows:

201A. The Board of County Commissioners of Harford County
may borrow funds for paying part or all of the capital construction
