AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 183B
(12-1) of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", as added by Chapter 491 of the Acts of 1959, to
permit the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County to
invest enumerated funds received by it in federally insured bank-
ing institutions in the County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 183B (12-1) of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County",
sub-title "County Commissioners", as added by Chapter 491 of the
Acts of 1959, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, to read
as follows:

183B.

(12-1) The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County are
hereby authorized and empowered, from time to time, in their dis-
cretion, to invest in United States Government bonds or evidence of
indebtedness, or to invest in federally insured banking institutions
in the County which pledge United States Treasury bills, notes or
other obligations of the United States to secure in full funds so
deposited, unexpended revenues received from taxation, bond sales,
lawful distributions to it of funds from other governmental agencies
or any other funds properly received by it until it determines the
funds are needed for proper public purposes.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 60 (c) of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Procedure for Issue of Li-
censes", to change provisions in Allegany County relating to hear-
ings on protests of applications for the issuance of alcoholic bev-
erage licenses in the county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 60 (c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Proce-
dure for Issue of Licenses", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:
