furnish, under seal or otherwise, to individuals, copies or extracts
of any papers in the office of the County Commissioners, of which
copies or extracts may by law, be required or by their permission
granted, and shall be entitled to the same fees for such services as the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for similar services but all such fees shall
be accounted for and paid into the general funds of the County;] in
case of the death or resignation of said treasurer at any time during
the term for which he shall have been appointed or elected, the
County Commissioners shall within twenty days thereafter appoint
someone to fill said vacancy, who shall take the oath and give the
bond hereinbefore required to be taken and given by the treasurer;
and the treasurer shall, at the expiration of his term of office, transfer
and deliver to his successors in office all books, accounts and papers
of every kind connected with his office.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 61
(Senate Bill 91)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 54 and 55 of Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll
County", sub-title "Elections", Section 54 thereof having been last
amended by Chapter 808 of the Acts of 1941, repealing obsolete
local laws of Carroll County concerning the salaries paid to certain
election officials and procedures for the conduct of elections.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 54 and 55 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-title
"Elections", Section 54 thereof having been last amended by Chapter
808 of the Acts of 1941, be and they are hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 62
(Senate Bill 93)
AN ACT to repeal Section 56 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-title
"Electricians", as said section was enacted by Chapter 798 of the
Acts of 1959, repealing an obsolete and unapplied local law of
Carroll County concerning regulation of the conduct of the
electrical business.
