"County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section 46
thereof, as last amended by Chapter 857 of the Acts of 1961; to
authorize the County Commissioners of Charles County at their
discretion to appropriate funds for, maintain and operate a nursing
home or homes for Charles County, providing a governing body for
said home and to authorize the Commissioners to appropriate an
annual sum to support same.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 46A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Charles County (1964 Supplement, being Article 9 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section
46 thereof, as last amended by Chapter 857 of the Acts of 1961; and
to read as follows:

46A.

(a)   The County Commissioners of Charles County are authorized
at their discretion to appropriate funds for, and to maintain and
operate a nursing home or homes for Charles County. The operation
and control shall be exercised through a board of trustees appointed
by the county commissioners.

(b)   The County Commissioners are authorized in their discretion
to appropriate an additional sum of money annually to the home, to be
administered and expended as the board of trustees may deem proper.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

(House Bill 422)

AN ACT to add new Section 73E to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Charles County (1964 Supplement, being Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County," subtitle
"County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section 73D
thereof, as added, last amended by Chapter 299 of the Acts of 1961;
to direct the County Commissioners of Charles County to adopt a
Building Code for the county as soon as is practicable after the
effective date of this Act.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 73E be and is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Charles County (1964 Supplement, being Article 9 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section
73D thereof, as added, last amended by Chapter 299 of the Acts of
1961, and to read as follows:
