ceding his appointment and be not less than thirty years of age.
During his term of office, he shall not hold any other position of trust
or profit under the laws of the United States or the State of Mary-
land. In addition to his salary, the County Commissioners shall
provide him with such sum as may be necessary to cover office and
other expenses not less than [two thousand one hundred dollars
($2,100.00)] three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) per annum. The
commissioner so appointed shall constitute the board of license com-
missioners for Frederick County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1965.

(House Bill 1181)
AN ACT to add new Section 103A to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sale," to
follow immediately after Section 103 thereof and to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 90 (b) of said Article and
subtitle of the Code (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), to
authorize the issuance of certain alcoholic beverage licenses for
Sunday sales in the Fourth and Fifth Election Districts of Queen
Anne's County and relating generally to the sale of alcoholic
beverages in Queen Anne's County on Sunday.
Whereas, at the special referendum held in Queen Anne's County
on November 3, 1964, as provided in Chapter 766 of the Acts of
1963, 62% of the persons voting in said referendum in the Fourth
Election District of said County were "For Sunday Alcoholic Bever-
age Sales" and 59% of the persons voting in said referendum in the
Fifth Election District of said County were "For Sunday Alcoholic
Beverage Sales,"
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 103A be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1964 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for
Sale," to follow immediately after Section 103 thereof; and that
Section 90 (b) of the said Article and subtitle of the Code (1957
Edition and 1964 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
103 A.
(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Article, no
license for sale of alcoholic beverages issued by the Board of License
Commissioners for Queen Anne's County shall be deemed to authorize,
nor shall it permit, the holder thereof to sell any alcoholic beverages
in Queen Anne's County on Sundays, except as hereinafter provided.
