County or trial magistrates to be paid by fathers or husbands for
support or alimony for the purpose of defraying expenses of the
Director of Probation's office; and to provide for an annual audit
of the Director of Probation for Harford County's books.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 192 (d) be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition, being Article 13
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford
County," subtitle "Circuit Court," subheading "Parole and Proba-
tion," to follow immediately after Section 192 (c) thereof and to read
as follows:
192.
(d) The Director of Probation shall and is hereby authorized to
assess a charge of 2% of the monies ordered by the Circuit Court or
Trial Magistrate to be paid by errant fathers or husbands to support
their children or in payment of alimony for the purpose of defraying
expenses for the collection and distribution of same. The books of
accounts and records of the Director's office shall be audited on an
annual basis.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 13 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard County (1957 Edition,
being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Howard County," subtitle "Circuit Court," to increase the
compensation of the bailiffs of Howard County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard County
(1957 Edition, being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Howard County," subtitle "Circuit Court," be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
13.
Every bailiff attending the Circuit Court for Howard County shall
be entitled to the sum of [Five Dollars ($5.00)] Ten Dollars ($10.00)
for each day he shall attend said Court; and upon the certificate
of the Clerk of said Court, stating the number of days the said
bailiffs have attended the said Court, the County Commissioners
for Howard County shall levy for the use of said bailiffs, the amounts
that may be due them.
