CHAPTER 29
(Senate Bill 106)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 118 (n)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-
ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Restrictions Upon
Licensees", amending the alcoholic beverage laws affecting Carroll
County in order to make a correction in these laws relating to the
purchase, consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages by a
minor in Carroll County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 118 (n) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Re-
strictions Upon Licensees", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:
118.
(n) In Carroll County, it shall be unlawful for any minor to buy,
consume, or to have in his possession, any alcoholic beverages in any
public place or on any public highway. The word "minor" shall
apply to every person under twenty-one years of age. It shall be
lawful for any bona fide employee to have alcoholic beverages in his
possession in the course of his employment where the employment
is not prohibited by this article. Any person violating the provisions
of this [section] sub-section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine not exceeding fifty
dollars for each and every violation.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 30
(Senate Bill 166)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 216B of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County (1957 Edition),
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Harford County", sub-title "County Commissioners", as said
section was enacted by Chapter 300 of the Acts of 1963, amending
the laws concerning the Citizens Nursing Home Board of Harford
County in order to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford
County, in furtherance of the objectives of the Citizens Nursing
Home Board, to make appropriations for land acquisition and
capital improvements or to borrow funds for these purposes and
to issue individual notes, bonds or other evidences of indebtedness;
and also to clarify the provisions of this law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
