Provisions on Issue of Licenses," to follow immediately after sub-
section 41 (b-4); to add new section 52B to Article 2B of said
Code and to said title and subtitle, to follow immediately after
Section 62A; and to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 83 (b) and 84 (b) of Article 2B of said Code and title, sub-
title "Hours and Days for Sale," providing that drug stores may
RESTAURANTS IN BILLIARD HALLS MAY NOT obtain
a Class A Beer License, revising the required qualifications
of an applicant in Montgomery County for a Class C, Beer, Wine
and Liquor License and revising the definition of persons who
may be served thereunder after April 30, 1965; allowing Class B,
Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses and Class C, Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses to be issued for different portions, respectively,
of the same premises or building under certain conditions in said
County; providing that premises holding alcoholic beverage li-
censes in said County, may be located no closer than 750 feet from
schools, churches, PUBLIC LIBRARIES or youth centers under
certain conditions; and changing the hours of sale of alcoholic
beverages in said County under certain licenses.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8 (i) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
(1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Beer Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, that Sections 20 (j) and 20 (j-1) of Article 2B
of said Code and title, subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
that new subsection 41 (b-5) of said Code and said title, subtitle
"General Provisions on Issue of Licenses," to follow immediately
after subsection 41 (b-4) thereof, be and it is hereby added to
Article 2B; that new Section 52A of said Code and said title and
subtitle, to follow immediately after Section 52A thereof, be and it
is hereby added to Article 2B; and that Sections 83 (b) and 84 (b)
of Article 2B of said Code and title, subtitle "Hours and Days for
Sale," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and all to read as follows:

8.

(i) In Montgomery County the license fee for such a license shall
be one hundred dollars ($100.00), except no license shall be issued
to any bowling alley [,] or billiard hall, [or drug store] or to any
restaurant located within said bowling alley [,] or billiard hall
[or drug store].

20.

(j) In Montgomery County such a license shall be issued only to
a country club applying therefor which has one hundred (100) or
more bona fide members of whatever class, and in which the total
amount of dues paid by the membership averages at least
[paying
dues and which has no member paying less in dues than] fifty
dollars ($50.00) per annum [per] for each member and which main-
tains at the time of the application for the license a regular or
championship golf course of nine holes or more, provided however,
that any licensee PREMISES LICENSED hereunder which held
HAD a Class C, beer, wine and liquor license on January 1, 1964
shall not be required to maintain a regular or championship golf
